Schouten Island ~ Bare Hill.

The most incredible luxe adventure of a lifetime.

This is how I would best describe the Tasmanian Walking Companies, Wine Glass Bay Sail Walk (WBSY).

Over the years, Tas Walking Co. has developed and fine tuned luxury walking adventures featuring some of Tasmania's pristine wilderness and coastal destinations including the Cradle Mountain Huts Walk & Bay of Fires Lodge Walk.

However this latest edition incorporates a saling and walking experience that is honestly breathtaking.

I may be a little biased as my partner Ryan is one of the crew members you may have the pleasure of meeting aboard the impressive 75ft Yacht, known as Lady Eugineie. However I felt like I was living in a dream that I never wanted to wake from.

WBSW offers the most uniqie way to explore both by foot and by sea some of Tasmania's most iconic east-coast destinations including Maria Island, Freycinet Peninsula, Schouten Island & Tasman Peninsula.

Schouten Island post hike, heading back to Lady Eugenie.

The trip that I was fortunate to be a part of was a 4-day-sail-walk in reverse. This meant that we travelled from Hobart to Freycinet national park, then after a fairly relaxed guided walk over the 'saddle' to Wine Glass Bay we were greeted by the Lady Euginie & crew.

The days that followed were filled with laughs, great company, relaxation, swimming off the side of the yacht, hiking in breathtakingly beautiful areas, eating incredible food & tasting some of Tasmania's best wine and cheese along the way.

I left feeling like I had truely lived and rejuvinated my soul, now even the thought of it makes me want to go back and see more! Even though photos really can't do this justice, here are a few of my personal pictures to share with you.

Live your dreams.
