In my experience, yoga can mean different things to people. It can evoke many emotions, spurs on personal challenges and growth, and is a means to confront some of the most hidden parts of ourselves,

It has been the place I escape to and find solace, and hit the pause button on the chaos that is everyday life at times. For me, work can be stressful and full of ongoing pressure, it drains me emotionally and mentally daily, and at times causes serious strain on my body and mind.

So yoga has become my time to invest in me, it is the time I set aside to be selfish and tune in to myself - how I am feeling, letting go of the days challenges and confrontations, stopping the worry of tomorrow and learning to listen and breath... always breath. Even just the simple task of hearing and controlling my own breath without interruption is therapeutic.

There is nothing like waking up early, going for a run, a swim and doing yoga with your best friend. These snaps are just that, from the first yoga session I did as husband and wife during my minimoon on Bruny Island.

Needless to say, yoga sessions together as Mr & Mrs are now my favourite. This is really going to be one to beat.

I hope you find your motivation to move each day at a time and take the time to invest in yourself by doing something that is good for your body, mind and soul.

Challenge yourself to treat yourself.

Put in more than you take out.

Much love.
