Avalon Coastal Retreat

Yesterday I married the man of my dreams, best friend and soul mate. To summarise, it was magical.

I have never felt so much genuine love, blissful happiness and good vibes between all of your favourite humans being all in one place for one special occasion.

Beach Wedding.

After the amount of planning, preparation, work, moments of stress and chaos we had been through, waking up and living our wedding day was like walking into the eye of a storm where everything is a dream and we created a new world just for us.

Firstly, a special shout out to my Maid of Honour & sister, Billie Casey-Jabore, who was on stage dancing with Jessica Mauboy in Melbourne the night before our big day (a last minute change in our plans).

After no sleep and a massive night Billie only made it back in time thanks to Jess (who personally ensured a cab would get her to the aiport in time) and my Dad for collecting her from the airport bright and early. Thank you to Billie for being so amazing and staying up with no sleep to celebrate our wedding with us! Also to our sissy Jess for being beautiful & giving us this message below.

A rundown of the day ~

Bridesmaids.

For me the wedding really began a little before the ceremony, when I was getting ready with the girls. I had my mumma bear, (new) mumma C, four bridesmaids, hair stylist Larissa Brill and photographer Benjamin Phipps surrounding me.

This all began from around 12pm.

Honestly the most lovely, vibrant and talented stylist I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Benjamin Phipps, of Phipps Photography ~ We could not talk highly enough of Ben, his professionalism, friendly and thoughtful delivery was one of the things that made our day so special. Ben was genuinely in it with us, excited and ready to capture it all, and matched our energy perfectly. So far we only have a teaser of 4 photographs that I have included for you (below). There will no doubt be a featured post on his work when the rest get into our hot little hands!

Bridie Larby, of The Enchanted Lifestyle ~ Not only an incredibley talented fashion designer, yoga instructor and much more, she is also my absolute kindred spirit who I love dearly. Words cannot describe the way we feel about this special soul however she deserves a special mention for not only being the most amazing bridesmaid but also seamstress, designer and my personal sanity break.

Ceremony.

The ceremony ~ officially started at 4pm on the beach where my husband had worked tirelessly with the boys to create our own little haven. Walking down from the venue with my bridesmaids and puppy dog is something I willl never forget. Having those surreal moments and realisations that we are literally "going to the chaple (beach) and we're, gonna get maaaarrried" & singing it the whole way.

We greet my Dad & step Dad a little way up from the shore near the boatshed, where we can begin to see everyone standing on the beach, gathering for the ceremony. EEEKKK. I have never experienced such a beautiful sight in all of my life, all of these stunning smiling faces, the people that mean so much to us, my brother playing guitar and singing (Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran), how stunning all of decorations look in reality rather than just in my dreams and of course...

my soon to be husband staring at me lovingly with tears in his eyes.

BREATH TAKING.

The ceremony itself went by in a blissful whirlwind, before we knew it we were being introduced as husband and wife after signing the papers and making it all official.

On the beach we provdided guests with fresh fruit and beverages to kick the celebrations off with a toast. After

we gathered for a group photo, we moved onto family pictures in front of the sea and were soon with the bridal party where laughter filled the air. We had so much fun with Ben working away capturing the moments and ended up half an hour ahead of schedule.

Able to catch a quick minute and soak it all in, Ryan and I went with Ben to finish our couple photos and soon after were rejoining our

guests to start the celebrations!

The MC for the evening was our very close friend and groomsman, Mark, who did an amazing job creating lots of hilarious moments and getting the crowd in the party spirit.

We then had a night of entertainment that was beyond anything we could have imagined. The talent for the night included:

Capt Matt Stevens kicked off live music.

Speehes by parents.

Jack Casey-Jabore (of Jack Casey Entertainment) feat. Jesse-John Jabore (my step Dad) on konga's played a set with a cover of one of our favourite songs 'Follow the Sun' by Xavier Rudd.

Speech by the Best Man, Nick.

Speech by Maid of Honour, Billie. With a special suprise dance performance by Billie Casey-Jabore that captivated everyone and brought a tear to our eyes!

Jack and Jesse-John continued toentertain for the evening.

Speeches by myself and Ryan (Mr & Mrs Weeks) and cutting of the cake.

Special performance featuring Ryan on the didgeridoo with Jack and Jesse-John.

Overall we wanted to create a festival wedding that was an experience showcasing who we are as individuals and a couple. And according to our guests it was just that so we couldn't be happier.

Sending you some of the love.
